Last updated: December 2025. This website is a portfolio of my high school projects, research, and other work through that date, and I encourage you to explore the work documented here. Since December 2025, I have pursued several additional projects and experiences that are not yet reflected throughout the website; a summary of this more recent work is included in the notice below (*).​

​Welcome! I'm Neil Sriram, a senior at Scarsdale High School who likes turning math and code into things that help people (or sometimes just entertain them). As an amateur magician and an avid guitarist, I love to connect with people.

I originally built this site to share small JavaScript games I made as a kid. Over time, those projects grew into Unity games, machine learning experiments, and eventually biomedical research.​

Since 2024, I’ve been working in Columbia University’s UEIL lab, modeling Blood–Brain Barrier Opening to make ultrasound-based drug delivery safer and more efficient. In 2025, I joined the Columbia's MBL lab to expand boundary-layer functionality in FEBio to quadratic meshes.

Outside the lab, I co-founded Badavas, an AI platform built to help small businesses after COVID-19. I also founded Konnekt Westchester, a charity chapter focused on mentoring youth and connecting underserved communities.

When I’m not building something new, I’m on the field with varsity soccer and New York Soccer Club, playing squash, performing magic, or writing music on guitar (fun fact: I can whistle almost any song).

* This website was last updated in December 2025. Since my last update, I joined Caltech as an undergraduate student studying Math/CS, completed a summer internship at YC-baked startup Mbodi AI (built a new computer vision pipeline that significantly improved classification accuracy, among other projects), interned at the Zach and Heather Harrison Team at Compass Real Estate (built a website including an AI chatbot for clients), and have worked on multiple significant passion projects, including Behemoth, a novel post Hartree-Fock TISE solver that uses a mathematical reformulation of energy computation and novel extensions of Andreief's identity to operate with fewer parameters than pre-existing algorithms (allowing for training more efficient NN based solvers) for ab-initio quantum mechanics chemical reaction simulation via the Born-Oppenheimer approximation, an optimized cross-encoder based matchmaking model to match workout partners for an app I'm developing, and my final project for my independent study on PDEs, including a set of lectures I presented on deriving constitutive equations for thermoelastic fluid simulation, among other projects. I've also been fortunate enough to receive the Scarsdale High School Math Department Award, Scarsdale High School Faculty Award, Berman-Rockow Award, and Konnekt Service Award, as well as be named as a Presidential Scholar semifinalist and a National Merit finalist.
